Nestled on the shores of Cultus Lake, our two-story holiday home offers an idyllic escape for you and your guests. We invite you to relax and revel in the incredible view of the rugged beauty that BC is so well known for: the majestic mountains, the towering fir trees, the scampering wildlife and the sparkling lake. Enjoy it all from our comfortable retreat.
The Beach House You’ll love the spacious second story master bedroom, designed to pamper guests. It has an antique king size brass bed with sitting area, breathtaking view overlooking the moonlit water and sliding doors to a deck. The downstairs common area is open kitchen, dining and living area, with fireplace, and again, that superb view. The lower deck has a barbeque and lounge furniture, plus there’s a small lawn for a game of bocce or croquet. We provide all the modern conveniences to make your stay relaxing.
A Nature Lover’s Dream From the comfort of an easy chair, watch soaring eagles, herons, ducks and hummingbirds. A stroll to the river rewards you with the sight of spawning salmon and huge ancient cedars, reaching to the sky. The hiking and biking trails, open year round, help you explore the spectacular surroundings. A quiet paddle on the lake puts you in the centre of it all.
Other Activities For those looking for more, we’re walking distance to dining, shopping, boat and jet ski rentals, waterslides, petting zoo, mini-golf and bumper boats. A short drive takes you to two golf courses and a full 18 hole putting course. (Some businesses are open seasonally.) Our lake home is a short drive from home, (we’re an hour from Bellingham, just over an hour from Vancouver, and 2 ½ hours from Seattle), yet it feels like a world away.
