With the beaches of beautiful Lake Huron at its doorstep, this picturesque cottage is ideally located for exploring Bayfield during all four seasons. We are centrally located a half block off Main Street. Walk to restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. It is a five minute stroll to the lake shore with sandy beaches, unforgettable world class sunsets and a large pleasure craft marina.
Gardengate cottage is a fully equipped 1200 square foot home in the heart of Bayfield. It sits on a half acre yard filled with mature trees and perennials. Beautifully decorated and maintained the spacious cottage interior offers a delightful, relaxing retreat for your vacation rental.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience with refrigerator, stove, micro-wave, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, etc. and an outdoor gas grill right off the deck. The living room has a sofa and loveseat, tv, vcr and a large selection of videos for your viewing pleasure. Cable tv provided during high season.
There is seating for 6 to 8 in the dining room. French doors lead to the deck where you can also enjoy a meal.
The surrounding area offers considerable activities and attractions: sailing, canoeing, swimming, fishing, salmon and rainbow fishing excursions from Goderich, 6 golf courses, horseback riding, walking and cycling trails, historical interests, cultural attractions, Stratford and Blyth festivals, theatres, art galleries, museums and the Bayfield Spa.
Available all year around. No smoking or pets.
High season: (June to mid-September)
$1100 per week.
Low season (mid-September thru May)
$800 per week.
Weekends high season: $450, low $350.
High season rates apply for holidays & New Years, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
